Fit Protocol
The wrong size is a betrayal of the garment. Every Candy Venom piece is engineered to sit on the body with precision and intent — oversized where it should drape, structured where it should sculpt. Measure yourself honestly, consult the charts below, and wear the venom with the fit it deserves. We don't do “it’ll probably be fine.” We do fine.

The Discipline of the Tape
Run the tape measure around the fullest part of your chest, under your arms, and across your shoulder blades. Keep the tape firm but not constricting — you should be able to slide a finger underneath. Breathe normally. Do not flex. Do not suck in. We want the real you.
Find your natural waistline — the narrowest part of your torso, typically just above your navel. Wrap the tape around this point, keeping it parallel to the floor. Stand straight, relax your stomach, and resist the urge to pull the tape tighter. Honesty is the best policy when the fit is this unforgiving.
Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks. The tape should sit level all the way around. If you're between sizes, consider how you want the garment to sit — snug and sculpted, or draped with intent.
Measure from the very top of your inner thigh (the crotch seam) down to the point where you want the hem to rest. For a full-length break, measure to the floor in the shoes you intend to wear. For a cropped look, stop where the bone of your ankle begins. Precision here separates the tailored from the tragic.
Fit Directive
Candy Venom uses South African sizing. For oversized fits, order your regular size — the cut accounts for the drape. For closer fits that contour the body with intent, size down one full size. When in doubt, measure. Guesswork is the enemy of good style, and we did not spend hours on the pattern for you to get it wrong at the checkout. If you fall between two sizes, the smaller size will give you the sculpted silhouette we intended; the larger will lean into the relaxed vocabulary of the piece. Both are valid. Mediocrity is not.
